Paesaggimutanti concerns with planners, students, developers, engineers, architects, public officials and community activists who create and influence our built environment, transforming growth pattern from the inside out and seeking to minimize the negative social and environmental impact of buildings by enhancing efficiency and moderation in the use of materials, energy, and fertile soil.

Paesaggimutanti will investigate the relationship between institution and critique, focusing a new emerging phase of critique aiming at a combination of social critique, institutional critique and self-critique. The line we investigate is that of a possible mutual interrelationship of institutions and critique as movement, and how this relationship can be made productive in the sense of emancipatory policies and beyond the abrupt demarcation between the two poles.
